The European Monetary Fund (EC) vs. the European Stability Fund (ADEMU), et al: economic and legal aspects of ADEMU proposals
The aim of this workshop was to have a discussion between economists and legal scholars on the final proposals and assessments of ADEMU. It addressed issues such as the European Stability Fund, the debate about a European unemployment insurance scheme, and a more general assessment of The European Union Presidents’ road map in 2018.

The Future of Economic & Monetary Union – law and policy issues of EMU reform – updated workshop report
In May 2017, the European Commission published a reflection paper on Deepening of the Economic and Monetary Union and other key policy proposals. On 11 and 12 December, the European University Institute hosted a workshop to take stock of how economic and monetary union has evolved since the crisis and to assess the legal issues arising out of policy proposals that arise from the reflection paper. ADEMU in 2018 – what to expect
As we enter the final months of the project, you will see some changes in the information we share. As we begin to disseminate the results of our three-year project involving eight prestigious academic institutions, we will move our focus slightly from our ADEMU community of researchers and co-ordinators, and begin to share our research and recommendations with policy makers and the public.

Call for papers: post-ADEMU workshop at the Barcelona GSE Summer Forum, 21-22 June *Deadline for submissions 28 February*
The three-year Horizon 2020-funded ADEMU Project ends with its final conference on the 9th and 10th of May at the EUI in Florence. Following this, a workshop will take place as part of the Barcelona GSE Summer Forum, an annual event attended by around 700 economists, researchers and academics from around the world.
