Organised by Marek Kapicka (CERGE-EI) and Ctirad Slavik (CERGE-EI), this macro workshop will bring together the best existing and ongoing research on risk sharing, macroeconomic inter-dependencies and imbalances, especially in a monetary and fiscal union.
The workshop aligns with two ADEMU objectives:
- to clarify the determinants of sovereign debt crises and to provide detailed institutional proposals for optimal fiscal risk-sharing among EMU member states
- the macroeconomic and financial inter-dependencies that are of relevance to reformed institutional governance of the euro area.
We welcome both theoretical and empirical submissions, as well as submissions that provide guidelines to macroeconomic policies in the EU/euro area.
We are inviting papers and (extended) abstracts to be submitted by 31 January 2018 to email@example.com (Subject: ADEMU Prague Macro Workshop). Authors of accepted papers will be notified by February 1, 2018.
Travel and hotel expenses will be covered by the ADEMU project.
