ADEMU workshop: Economic Policy Challenges

Friday 18th and Saturday 19th November, European University Institute, Florence

ADEMU presented a two-day workshop, organized and hosted by the European University Institute (EUI), Florence, to examine the economic policy challenges faced by the European Union.

Topics discussed included monetary, fiscal policy and unemployment, capital flows and sovereign debt, political economy, prices, and economies with adverse selections.

Discussions were chaired by Arpad Abraham, Piero Gottardi, Ramon Marimon, Andrea Mattozzi and Evi Pappa, all of the EUI, and included presentations from leading academics and economists from across Europe.
