Fiat Value and the Theory of Value: an ADEMU lecture by Edward C Prescott | Barcelona GSE, 30 March

On Thursday 30 March, Barcelona GSE hosted the ADEMU lecture Fiat Value and the Theory of Value, delivered by economist and Nobel Laureate Edward C Prescott

Currently director of the Center for the Advanced Study in Economic Efficiency at Arizona State University and distinguished adjunct professor at Australia National University, Professor Prescott received the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics in 2004. He shared the award with Finn E Kydland, “for their contributions to dynamic macroeconomics: the time consistency of economic policy and the driving forces behind business cycle.”
